The Official Advent Children soundtrack was released on 28 September 2005. Containing
2 CDs, it is available in a standard edition as well as a limited edition containing
a different cover and silver slip case.
The soundtrack was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, except for the song calling, which
is written and performed by Kyosuke Himuro. Calling originally appeared on Himuro's
1989 album Neo Fascio and was chosen by Tetsuya Nomura as the vocal song for the
movie as he felt it was fitting with the world view in the film.
